WHAT IS KRISTEN'S APPROACH AND STYLE?
Kristen’s highly effective and unique therapeutic approach draws from a deep and reverent belief that everything is Eros--life force energy. She meets her clients in relationship using embodiment and nervous system awareness practices; Erotic Intelligence and Sovreignty; Ho’oponopono; EMDR; presence training; experiential Gestalt therapy (all of the parts of you that make up the whole being); and incorporates a bio/psycho/social model for change; Internal Family Systems and parts work; and attachment theory.
Kristen has a dynamic view of transformation and change process that was born from burn out with traditional process based talk therapy. Words only take us so far into our healing until they, too, become a piece of the stuck pattern that keeps us in our heads.
In embodied counseling, we access all parts of the Self that make up the whole. We journey deep into the landscape of your body, mind and Soul, using guided visualization, process oriented work, understanding neurobiology and the mechanics of thoughts, feelings, and actions.Â
You leave every session with “Soul work/Homework” so you can up level your engagement and accountability within the healing container we co-create. It’s not enough to show up once a week and see the change you desire. Soul work/Homework keeps your sessions front of mind and heart for the real magic of transformation to seed itself.

DURATION AND FREQUENCY?
I recommend people attend sessions on a weekly or bi-weekly basis when getting started for the sake of building our relationship, sacred container, and accountability. I only want to work with you if you are truly committed to doing the soul work/homework outside of your sessions. It’s in the micromoments of life that the change happens.
