How To Manifest Anything You Want

I used to think manifesting meant writing a goal in a journal and crossing my fingers. If I just said the affirmation enough times, or made a pretty enough vision board, I believed I could force the outcome into being.

But the more I leaned into my spiritual practice, the more I began to understand: manifestation isn’t about force. It’s about alignment.

Whether you're calling in clarity, a partner, a new job, or simply more peace, here's how I approach manifestation—and how you can too.

What Is Manifestation, Really?

Manifestation is the practice of aligning your energy, intention, and action with what you want to bring into your life. But it’s not magic. It’s not bypassing effort. And it’s not about micromanaging the Universe.

Instead, manifesting is about creating energetic conditions for your desires to take root. You tune your body, your mind, and your spirit to the frequency of what you’re calling in—and you trust the process.

It’s also about presence. When you’re connected to your intuition and grounded in the moment, you’re much more likely to recognize signs, opportunities, and shifts as they arrive.

If you’ve ever wondered, “Am I doing this right?”—you’re not alone. Manifesting is a skill. One that you build by reconnecting to your body, learning to feel your emotions, and softening your grip on control.

Step 1: Get Clear on What You Want

This might seem obvious, but many people struggle to manifest clearly because they aren’t being honest with themselves about what they actually want.

Ask yourself:

  • What am I really craving?

  • What is my deepest motivation?

  • Where am I settling?

  • What would feel deeply nourishing, expansive, or exciting to receive?

Let your answers come without judgment. Your desires don’t need to be “spiritual enough” or sound like anyone else’s. The Universe responds to resonance, not performance.

And if clarity feels hard to access, this might be a sign it’s time to reconnect to your body. This guide on how to transmute energy might help clear blocks so your true desires can rise to the surface.

Step 2: Feel It Before It’s Real

One of the biggest misconceptions I see around manifesting is the belief that you’ll feel good once you get the thing. But manifestation doesn’t work that way. The feeling comes first.

You’re not manifesting a partner so you can finally feel loved. You’re reconnecting with the love inside you so that it becomes the natural energetic match for a relationship to enter your life.

This is why presence and nervous system work are so important. If you’re constantly living in fear, lack, or reactivity, it’s much harder to access the aligned state that magnetizes your desires.

To begin shifting your state:

  • Sit with the feeling of having what you want. Let yourself feel it in your body.

  • Ask: how does that version of me carry herself? Speak? Relate?

  • Practice becoming that version now.

It’s not about faking it. It’s about regulating your energy and remembering what alignment feels like—so that when what you desire shows up, you’re already calibrated to receive it.

Step 3: Take Aligned, Grounded Action

This is where a lot of people get stuck. Because taking action can feel overwhelming when we don’t trust ourselves—or the timing of our lives.

I teach my clients to ask: What is one gentle action I can take that reflects my belief this is already happening?

Sometimes the answer is logistical (submit the application, open the savings account). Sometimes it’s energetic (move the stuck emotion, set a boundary, call in support). Often, it’s both.

This is where your feminine energy comes into play. Feminine energy allows you to act from your intuition—not urgency. If you want to explore this more, this blog about feminine energy traits can help you understand how to work with both masculine and feminine dynamics as you take action.

Step 4: Surrender the Outcome

Yes, you need clarity. Yes, you need action. But the most underrated part of manifestation is what happens after you’ve made your ask.

You have to let go.

This doesn’t mean stop caring. It means releasing your grip on how and when it will happen. Attachment and control are often trauma responses—and they block the very thing you’re trying to attract.

Instead, practice staying open. Stay curious. Stay available to the idea that it might arrive differently than you imagined—and that doesn’t mean it’s wrong.

I often remind clients: the most aligned things often feel like surprises. That’s part of the magic.

The key to consistent manifestation is mastering energetic alignment. Feel what it’s like to have the thing you want long before you have it. Live and relish in that energy and surrender doubt knowing that what you want is already yours.

If you’ve been trying to force your manifestations or are feeling stuck in fear, I offer intuitive readings to help you realign with your inner knowing and receive deeper support.

Manifestation and the Anxious Mind

If you’re someone who experiences anxiety (especially high-functioning or overachieving anxiety), manifestation can feel slippery. You might be used to white-knuckling your way to success. You might think you need to “get it right.”

But manifestation isn’t about perfection. It’s about resonance.

If anxiety is clouding your ability to tune into that resonance, know you’re not broken. You might simply need to slow down, regulate your nervous system, or get support untangling those patterns. Therapy can be deeply effective for anxiety—especially when combined with intuitive and spiritual tools.

What If I Don’t Know What I Want?

Sometimes we feel blocked because we’re not actually sure what we’re calling in. This is common for empaths, people-pleasers, or women in midlife who’ve spent years prioritizing others.

You may want to read Am I an Empath? if this sounds like you.

If clarity isn’t available, try this: instead of focusing on the thing, focus on the feeling. How do you want to feel in your body? Your home? Your relationships?

Desire doesn’t have to be concrete. It just has to be true. When you anchor into the feeling first, the form reveals itself in time.

How I Manifest in My Own Life

Here’s a quick example. A few years ago, I was in a deep season of personal transition. I had left behind relationships and identities that no longer felt true—but I wasn’t sure what I was stepping into.

Instead of setting rigid goals, I started asking: How do I want to feel in this next chapter?

The words that came were clear: ease, freedom, sacredness, and joy.

I anchored into those words through daily practices. I moved my body, made art, got quiet, and said no to what didn’t resonate. Eventually, my life began to reconfigure itself around those feelings.

That’s how manifestation works. The outer world begins to reflect what you’ve allowed yourself to feel and embody within.

Manifestation As A

Manifestation is not a shortcut. It’s not a trick. And it’s not a substitute for deep healing. But when done with intention, it can be one of the most empowering and clarifying spiritual practices you explore.

Let yourself be surprised. Let yourself be held. And let yourself trust that you don’t have to figure it all out alone.

If you’re feeling called to dive deeper, I offer intuitive readings to support you in coming home to your truth and co-creating with the Universe.

You don’t have to chase it. You just have to become available to receive it.
